Biomedical Refrigerator / Freezer Combo, ideal for storage of biological materials, reagents and vaccines. Space-saving compact cabinet design provides two storage temperatures in a single footprint. Microprocessor controller with digital temperature display and alarms maintains precise temperature, adjustable 2°C to 14°C in refrigerator, -20°C to -30°C in freezer. Separate refrigeration systems and compressors allow differential control of individual refrigerator and freezer compartments unlike commercial combination refrigerator/freezer that rely on one refrigeration system (one compressor) to maintain temperature in both chambers. Temperature in the refrigerator is maintained with a forced air system, plus a unique cycle defrost only initiates as required and maintains internal temperature uniformity without fluctuations. Freezer chamber utilizes a cold wall design with manual defrost.
