The FLUOstar Omega microplate reader features BMG LABTECH's unique Tandem Technology utilizing high speed UV/Vis spectrometer based absorbance and ultra-sensitive filter-based detection in all detection modes.

With fluorescence intensity and luminescence with DLReadyTM certification, BMG LABTECH’s FLUOstar Omega is the perfect solution for all your microplate based applications.

The FLUOstar Omega also offers a gas control system. The microprocessor controlled Atmospheric Control Unit (ACU), available for the Omega range of microplate readers, offers dual independent regulation of O2 (1% to 19%) and CO2 (0% to 20%). This two valve system adjusts the two gases independently, ensuring that any combination can be easily programmed; thus making it unnecessary to change cylinders or piped gas supplies.

The FLUOstar Omega is also delivered with BMG LABTECH’s established Omega Reader Control software and comprehensive Data Analysis Software, MARS. The highly intuitive software provides limitless possibilities for test set up where it is needed, but also offers a “Quick-Start” mode for running routine analysis with just 3 mouse clicks. In MARS, a wizard guides the user through the entire data analyzing process. Additionally, a template manager can be used for building complex data processing protocols. Improved robotic integration capabilities, digital signature and 21 CFR part 11 compliance of MARS complete this software package.
