Description
The epMotion 5075 TMX is the most flexible member of the epMotion family of automated pipetting systems. It includes an integrated TMX module to shake, heat or cool samples. The TMX module can be loaded and unloaded with the gripper. Pipetting to the mixer is possible before and after mixing steps. The TMX module is fully software-controlled enabling pipetting on other worktable positions while the mixer is in operation.
TMX mixing is based on Eppendorf’s 2DMix-Control technology. Orbital shaking combined with the perfect balance of speed and mixing radius ensure the best stirring results e.g. in resuspending bacteria pellets or beads. The 2DMix-Control eliminates the need for additional centrifugation steps as the orbital shaking prevents droplets collecting on the side of the tube or plate wells.
