Fiber Optic Illuminator / Fiber Optic Light Source

A fiber optic light source provides illumination for samples being viewed under the microscope. It is connected to the microscope using a fiber optic cable, which guides the light from the light source to the microscope. This light source is typically a halogen or xenon lamp that emits bright and stable light in the visible spectrum.
