Antipain is a reversible inhibitor of Ser and Cys proteases with an activity spectrum comparable to leupeptin. H-1765 inhibited transformation of NIH3T3 cells after transfection with an activated H-ras oncogene. Has been employed for evaluating the role of proteases in the process of malignant transformation of BALB/c 3T3 cells
