ASMS 2020 was one of the first events in the laboratory meeting segment to convert from face-2-face to a “virtual” format due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The live part of the meeting expanded to June 1 to 12, 2020. User’s sessions and off-program events started in late May and extended into mid-July.
