Description
The NightOWL II LB 983 In Vivo Imaging System provides a modular, easy to use optical imaging system, delivering high sensitivity and resolution. With various light-sources and light-tight ports to insert cables, fibre optics or manipulators, it provides the flexibility you need for any in vivo imaging application.
Features
- Ultrasensitive back-illuminated (backlit) CCD camera with high quantum efficiency over the entire visible to near-infrared spectrum for luminescence and fluorescence.
- Efficient cooling of the array (absolute -80 to -90°C depending on the room temperature) to ensure very low noise, so that long exposure times can be used to integrate the signal over time and detect even very weak light signals.
- Light-tight cabinet, preventing any interferences from ambient light.
- Motor-driven camera to achieve optimum resolution and focus of the sample. The camera can be moved from a height of 50 mm to 725 mm allowing focussing on every sample size up to 250 mm. A macro table is available for close-ups.
- Flange option that provides light-tight access to the inner part for tubing, cables or even fibre optics, e. g. for special illumination of plants. The flange can be customized for special purposes.
- Available accessories include various light-sources for different applications, gas anaesthesia unit, heating table to mantain optimum body temperature, and more.
- The user-friendly IndiGO™ software controls the instrument and makes image processing easy. It provides easy wavelength management and optional 21 CRF part 11 compliance, animal alignment and digital mouse atlas alignment option.
