Anserine is Carnosine's form of methylation, an orally effective, natural, histamine-containing peptide found in the skeletal muscles of vertebrates. Anserine is not lysed by serum carnosine enzymes and can be used as biochemical buffers, chelating agents, antioxidants and anti-glycation agents. Anserine improves memory function in mice with Alzheimer's disease (AD) models
