DEAE-Polysucrose is a polysucrose (renamed from Ficoll™) substituted with diethylaminoethyl (DEAE) groups. The DEAE-polysucrose from Aladdin is derived from a polysucrose with an average molecular weight of approximately 70 kDa. All batches are checked for molecular weight, degree of substitution and loss on drying. DEAE-polysucrose is supplied as a white powder.StructurePolysucrose is a high molecular weight sucrose-polymer formed by copolymerisation of sucrose with epichlorohydrin.
