Description
Phosphatidic acid (PA), a minor constituent of biological membranes is a simplest glycerophospholipid. It has glycerol backbone with phosphate present at C-3 position. The C-1 and C-2 positions are esterified with fatty acids. Product Application：1、as a component in the lipid bilayer to study how lipid geometry acts in coat protein I (COPI) vesicle fission；2、to study its effects on intracellular Ca2+ concentration ([Ca2+]i) in C6 rat glioma and L2071 mouse fibroblast cells；3、to activate protein kinase C (PKC)；4、as a cell-free activator in membrane and cytosolic fractions for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase assay
