9-Phenanthrol (9-Hydroxyphenanthrene) is a selective TRPM4 inhibitor with an IC50 of 17 µM. 9-Phenanthrol has no inhibitory activity on TRPM5, TRPC6, and CFTR. 9-Phenanthrol can be used for the research of ischemia-reperfusion injury[1][2]
