iNeu™Mito™ Mitochondrial Calcium Flux Biosensor, with iNeu™ATP™ Fluorescent Biosensor, a Dual Biosensor System

Description

iNeuMito™ biosensor is a mitochondrial calcium flux sensor. These cells are engineered to express iNeuMito™ biosensor, which has been developed to use a highly sensitive fluorescence-based biosensor as a reporter gene to monitor mitochondrial calcium flux and cytotoxicity. Excitation = 610nm; emission = 625nm. The iNeuMito™ biosensor is introduced into the cell using a proprietary magnetic liposome-mediated method and expressed in the mitochondria (using a marker protein such as COX IV).

iNeuATP™, a fluorescent biosensor, has also been custom incorporated into the human iNeuRapid™ cell line. With iNeuATP™, biosensor assays provide fast kinetics (resolution in seconds) when measuring real-time cellular ATP metabolism and cytotoxicity. The analysis of cellular oxidative phosphorylation directly reflects the health and function of mitochondria. Excitation = 535nm; emission = 550nm.

Starting Materials: immortalized human cell line.
