Description
iNeu™ cells are human sensory neurons derived from human dermal cells using a human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line under fully defined proprietary induction and maturation conditions. iNeu's sensory neurons are plated in a monolayer during culture, are branched, and express biomarkers such as β-Tuj (neuron-specific), BRN3a and peripheral proteins. In addition, iNeu™ cells express biomarkers such as ASIC, CNR1, NTRK, P2X4, SCN9a/Nav1.7, TRPA1, TRPV1, P2X3, and SCN10A/Nav1.8 (RT/qPCR data not shown). The sensory neurons can perform various functional characterization and drug candidate validation studies under mature conditions or co-culture conditions (used with Schwann cells or other neuronal subtypes).
