Description
iNeu's calcium biosensor has been integrated into human iPS-derived astrocytes. They respond to changes in intracellular calcium in the 605nm-625nm fluorescence range (excitation/emission) to measure fluctuations in cytosolic calcium concentration. "Calcium wave" is a key feature of functional human astrocytes. These calcium biosensors have an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and can operate in the range of seconds to minutes. They can be used for single-cell applications as well as medium to high-throughput assay platforms.
