Description
Rat dorsal root ganglion neurons (RDRGN) are arranged along the spine and along the vertebrae. They are clusters of nerve cell bodies that contain afferent neurons that transmit sensory information from surrounding objects to the central nervous system. They are used to study ion channel properties, regulation, neuropathy, peripheral nerve injury, regeneration, myelination, synapse formation, etc.
