Iseganan is an anti-microbial peptide that is active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. Iseganan kills a broad-spectrum of bacteria and fungi by attaching to and destroying the integrity of the lipid cell membranes. Iseganan can be used for oral mucositis research[1][2][3]
