The B1A mini gel agarose separation system is an easy to handle and sufficient unit if you want to separate molecules ranged 8-10 kb. The electrophoresis chamber contains nice capacity for buffer and is also handy for loading samples as the electrophoresis unit has good transparency. Electrodes can easily connect with any electrophoresis power supply and most of the time you get good separation of molecules. The only constraint is the small size of the unit, but this product is specifically designed for a small number of samples so different units are needed depending on the sample sizes.
