A Great Value Centrifuge with Rotors

This instrument's technical quality is excellent as Eppendorf used high-quality materials and paid strict attention to the engineering and design. The Eppendorf centrifuge is considerably quieter compared with our other centrifuges, even at full tilt. In terms of bench space, due to the location of the refrigeration unit on the side of the unit, the centrifuge is fairly wide (70 cm x 61 cm). Most other centrifuges are considerably smaller and that was initially counted in our purchasing decision against the 5810. I use this centrifuge for separation of molecules when we have high volumes and need more time centrifuging. The only problems with this instrument is limited rotation speed and limited size for tubes.
