This micro-centrifuge has a speed of up to 6000 rpm, and can be used for micro-filtration, cell separation and quick spin downs from the walls of the chemical, reagent, and sample tubes. I use it for spinning the tubes while running PCR, qPCR, and plate preparations and for other molecular processes. Additional supporters is a good option for PCR tubes mixing. It is easy to operate and just one button to use. However, as it is small it can't be use for a large batch of samples at a particular time.
