Easy Method to Purify T Cells without Centrifugation

The EasySep kits use magnetic beads and negative selection to isolate a population of interest. To purify T cells from blood, magnetic beads bind to all other cell types and the tube containing blood or other sample is placed in the magnet (magnet is a separate product #18001) so that unwanted cell types are held to the wall of the tube and the remaining T cells can be poured off into a new tube. This process may need to be repeated, but it is fast and does not require centrifugation. While purity is typically very good (>98%), yield can be lower than using other methods. Isolated cells can be obtained in 1 hour.
