The RNA extraction process is always a difficult step because of the high degradation tendency of the RNA molecule. To overcome this issue, I have started using the Qiagen plant RNA extraction kit and it is highly impactful and useful for the extraction of non degraded and high quality RNA. The protocol is straightforward to work with and most of the chemicals are already prepared, with instructions for their proper storage. I am very confident in this product in respect to the downstream experiments and will recommend this to others who would like to extract RNA from various plant parts or tissues.
