Patch Clamp - Borosilicate Capillaries (Glass)

I highly recommend the borosilicate capillaries for patch clamp experiments. It is easy to use, especially on cells which are difficult to patch. With this glass, by using a puller you can have two capillaries (electrodes) with high resistance which means at least 4 but mostly 5 megaohm. There is a filament inside of this glass which will help you during your experiments to take out the air that can enter the pipette when you fill it with your pipette solution.
