The goal of our experiment was to detect changes in GFAP expression after blocking the ATX-LPARs pathway in a mouse model of neuroinflammation. The antibody was used at the recommended dilution 1:1000, giving good and reproducible results. In some cases, a fade unspecific band was observed but at much higher MW. If there is no need to overexpose the plot during detection step, then this is a minor disadvantage.
