Culture Medium DMEM 1X

I use usually this medium for HEK293 cells. It is quite a complete medium. There is the essential amino acid and vitamin concentration. I just need to add the antibiotics penicillin streptomycin and bovine serum to use it. However, DMEM for cell culture contains the indicator phenol red which is unusable for colorimetric analysis. DMEM uses a sodium bicarbonate buffer system, allowing for maintenance of physiological pH that can change between each bottle. Be careful if you are studying pH on your cell model. Despite the price, this product is indispensable for my experiments.
