This calcium probe is very easy to use and it is highly efficient. In this box, you can find 20 different tubes which contain 50 micrograms of probe. You may think that it can be a bit expensive, however, you can do a large number of experiments. This is a ratiometric probe that’s why you need a microscope with different wavelength filters. You have to permeabilize the cell membrane. In that way, this probe can go inside of the cell and can indicate the calcium level change.
