Bovine Serum Albumin
I use BSA (bovine serum albumin) in the Western Blot experiment during the blocking step to saturate with all non-specific antibody sites. It is easy to prepare and solubilization is quick. Unfortunately, this depends heavily on your own antibodies. If you have good specificity with your antibodies, it's a good product.
