Product Name:
Alexa Fluor® 647 anti-human HLA-C Antibody
HLA-C membrane protein is part of the Class I HLA proteins that play a huge role in the mechanism of rejection. HLA-C is recognized by CD8 T cells that are triggered in case of HLA mismatches between donor and recipient. In general, I use Class I HLA antibody to determine the level of expression of my cells. But sometimes, I need to be more precise and to measure the expression of HLA-C not taking account of the others HLA proteins like HLA-A and HLA-B. So this antibody is great to serve this purpose. However, it happened that few cells in a pool supposedly HLA-C positive may be less stained than others but it is a very low percentage of cells.
