RNA Microprep Kit

I have used this kit to isolate total RNA from mammalian cells. Compared to the iso-propanol precipitation method, the kit offers a really quick way of isolating high-quality (as assessed by RNA integrity number and 260/280 ratio) RNA. It also uses additional DNaseI treatment that helps to get rid of DNA that could interfere with any downstream assays. However, often the yield is low, so if you want high quality but low yield RNA, use this kit.
