4–15% Mini-PROTEAN® TGX™ Precast Protein Gels
Our lab has been using these precast gels quite often, which is time-saving because the gel preparation is a long process. Moreover, these gels go from 4% to 15%, which allows the separation of proteins between 5 and 200 kDa. It is possible to have a run time as short as 15 minutes with these gels and the maximum volume per well is 50 µl. The only negative point about these is the fact that when we pull out the comb, the gel’s parts separating each well can break, so it has to be pulled out very gently.
