I have used the Aldehyde/Sulfate Latex Beads (4% w/v, 4 μm) to increase surface area in order to perform flow cytometry for specific markers related to extracellular vesicles (EVs). Specifically, the beads work excellently with antibodies targeted to CD81, CD63, and CD9, and allow the user to perform flow cytometry for quantification of these markers, in order the verify the presence of EVs for current industry guidelines.
