X-tremeGENE 9 for Mammalian Cell Transfection

X-tremeGENE 9 is a well established transfection reagent for mammalian cell lines. I use this reagent at 1:3 (DNA:transfection reagent) for most of my experiments. The transfection efficiency is variable with cell type (~90% efficiency with 293T cells and ~50% efficiency with HeLa cells). The pros are easy transfection protocol and low toxicity.
