Description
Nu Sapphire is a dual-path MC-ICP-MS that combines a double-focusing magnetic sector mass analyser with a hexapole collision/reaction cell on a separate low-energy ion path (patented GB 2535826). The high-energy path provides classical MC-ICP-MS operation; the low-energy path decelerates ions into the hexapole CRC for removal of Ar-based and polyatomic interferences. Variable-dispersion Zoom Optics allow instantaneous switching between collector configurations.
