The Y-type interaction chamber is one of the strongest homogenization chambers available in the market today and is most suitable for handling liquid-liquid materials. Genizer's chamber is made from high-quality, durable, abrasion-resistant material, such as diamond. The diamond interaction chamber technology works by allowing a flow stream to be divided into two channels that are then routed over the same plane at right angles and propelled into a single flow stream. The high pressure from the homogenizer will induce a rapid speed at the point where the two flows converge, which generates high shear, turbulence, and cavitations over the single outbound flow stream. Genizer’s advanced technology offers the exclusive option to add real time cooling ports for a more effective heat exchange. Genizer’s Y- Type DIXC is available as single or multi slotted. Single-slotted interaction chambers have a single microchannel and are ideal choices for small sample size research. On the other hand, the multi-slotted interaction chambers are available for industrial scales since they are primarily composed of multiple microchannels in parallel and undergo increased flow rate throughout the DIXC with equal processing forces.
