The LC-4500 Compact HPLC System is so flexible that it can be used for a wide range of applications in academic research, teaching, or QA/QC.
The extremely compact stackable design requires only 6 inches (15 cm) of bench space, and can be easily fit into most fume cabinets where space is a premium.
The individual pump (PU-4580), detector (UV-4570), and autosampler (AS-4550) modules each have an option for keypad control, external control by RS232, or simple contact closure, so that they can be readily incorporated into other systems for both chromatography and non-chromatography applications.
The system employs an asymmetric twin-piston solvent delivery system SSQD (Slow Suction, Quick Delivery) which provides significantly better flow and pressure profiles than the commonly used conventional twin-piston reciprocating design.
In the LC-4500 model, SSQD has been re-developed, with a new solvent delivery mechanism offering the highest stability in solvent delivery across the entire analytical flow rate range.
