Porvair Sciences has developed a protein extraction kit, the Chromatrap®, as a means to extract cytoplasmic, nuclear or total protein from mammalian cells. It provides high yields of purified active protein with low cross-fraction contamination in less than 90 minutes.
The Chromatrap® removes the need for ultracentrifugation steps in their protocols. Each kit generates high-quality protein samples that can be applied in a variety of applications including western blotting, protein assays, reporter gene assays, gel-shift assays, and enzyme activity assays.
