FRITSCH has developed the Knife Mill PULVERISETTE 11 as rapid analysis technology for food analysis. Its novel design enables rapid homogeneous sample analysis, optimizing your food science research. Each subsample taken from any point in the grinding vessel is representative of the original sample and thus ensures an efficient analysis. The optimized design of the Knife Mill PULVERISETTE 11 will allow researchers to apply this technology to a wide range of different materials, regardless of whether the sample is dry, moist, soft, medium-hard, fibrous, or oily.
The unique design enables analysis of fibrous and tough samples, such as fish, asparagus, bamboo shoots, when the sickle knife with serrated blades is selected. For food-safe analysis and for verification of polymers, the grinding vessel made of glass can be used. For comminution of oily samples and for BPA-free sample preparation a grinding vessel made of Eastman Tritan Copolyester is available for use. For fast cryogenic comminution in a single step, researchers will find the appropriate accessories. The grinding vessel made of stainless steel 316L enables the user to embrittle samples such as gummi bears, cereal bars, or chocolate directly in the grinding vessel with liquid nitrogen. The sample material remains 100% cold.
The grinding vessel, lid and knife of the PULVERISETTE 11 can be easily cleaned in a dishwasher. Depending on the version, all parts in contact with the sample are autoclavable.
