Three Miele glassware washers have received ACT label certification from My Green Lab, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a culture of sustainability in science. The ACT (Accountability, Consistency and Transparency) label represents the standard for lab sustainability, and Miele is the first glassware washer manufacturer to earn this certification.

We applaud this initiative and are incredibly proud that three of our machines have earned ACT Label certification.”
Much like nutrition labels, the ACT label shows how products “rate” in sustainability-related categories. My Green Lab calculates the Environmental Impact Factor of a product through verified information on a product’s energy consumption, water use and end-of-life. The three certified Miele glassware washers received the following Environmental impact Factors:
The Miele PG 8583 washer previously received ACT Label certification in 2019. Following My Green Lab’s rigorous testing process, the model was recertified, along with first-time certification of the other two models. Certifications remain valid for one calendar year.
