Our Mini-Containment hoods were developed for applications where space is at a premium. The ES-7000 Mini-Containment hood is suitable for adsorption of organic vapors and trapping of airborne powders or particulates. The hood measures 17" high x 16" wide x 17" deep and the top mounted blower unit is 16" high x 12" wide x 13.5" deep. The blower unit is made up of three sections which attach together with a simple latching mechanism. Gaskets seal each section to provide security against vapor or particulate leakage. This latching mechanism allows for easy filter replacement and maintenance. Like all Airfiltronix systems, this unit can accommodate a variety of filters: charcoal, four stage Dacron, aluminum, and HEPA filters, to capture a broad range of chemical fumes, odors and particles - at their source.
