Gravimetric Sorption Analyzer

Gravimetric sorption is a popular analytical method utilized for the determination of the rate of interaction between a gas and an either solid or liquid material. The gravimetric sorption technique works with a sample’s weight being continuously measured on a microbalance as gas pressure is modulated under a constant temperature. Sorption update is established based on the measured changes of weight.

DescriptionThe XEMIS series are high accuracy gravimetric sorption analyzers operating to 200 bar. Changes in sample mass are measured as a function of applied temperature and pressure to determine isotherms, isobars and sorption kinetics. Designed for operation with a full range of gas and vapor species ... Read MoreThe IGA-003-MC is a gravimetric sorption analyzer for binary gas sorption analysis using the IMB (Integral Mass Balance) analysis technique. The IMB method allows binary gas adsorption isotherms to be measured by combining the controlled flow of a gas mixture with in situ gravimetric measurement and... Read MoreThe IMI-HTP is designed to characterize hydrogen storage materials using Sieverts method up to pressures of 200 bar. High accuracy is ensured by a minimized dead volume, all-metal construction, high thermal stability and accurate pressure measurement. Every IMI-HTP is specified to meet the ...
