Tube Furnace / Laboratory Tube Furnaces

Laboratory tube furnaces consist of heating coils surrounding a cylindrical cavity where temperature is controlled by a thermocouple. A tube furnace is available as single or multi-zone, horizontal/vertical, split & rotating models. They also come in either continuous or batch rotary tube furnaces. Many tube furnaces are equipped with two or more heating zones and can produce temperatures up to 1800°C. The general design will vary based on process temperature, throughput, atmosphere requirements, characteristics of material, cooling requirements, etc.
