Laboratory Reactors

A Laboratory reactor is designed for the optimization and reproduction of various chemical reactions, dispersal, mixing, and homogenizing processes. Applications of laboratory reactors include mixing and drying powders, developing lotions and creams, fuel research, and fiber processing in liquids and polymers. Key considerations for laboratory reactors are primarily dependent on the types of reactions taking place (polymerization, hydrocracking, etc). Other considerations include flow rate, temperature range, volume, and pressure range.

DescriptionParr offers a number of different reactors in the 4570 and 4580 Series in a variety of sizes and with different mountings for operating pressures to 5000 psi (345 bar) and temperatures to 500 °C. All of these reactors have been designed with suitable valves, fittings and modifications to the vessel ... Read MoreParr's new Continuous Flow Tubular Reactor with Touchscreen Control was designed with researchers in mind. In addition to accommodating Parr's standard line of 5400 Tubular Reactors, it offers a compact footprint, easy set-up, and integrated touchscreen control with alarm interlocks. Whether for ... Read MoreThis system incorporates three tubular reactors that can be configured as required to operate in a strictly parallel fashion or in a cascade arrangement where the products from one reactor are immediately directed to a second reactor. This type of system can support reaction schemes including but ... Read MoreThese are the largest of the Parr Reactors that can be handled on a bench top. They can be furnished with either a self-sealing, O-ring closure for working temperatures up to 225 °C or with a flat, PTFE gasket for higher temperatures to 350 °C. An optional HP (High Pressure) flat gasket version has ... Read More
