The aw value indicates the proportion of free, unbound water in organic products such as foodstuffs or pharmaceuticals and is referred to as water activity. This value is crucial for assessing the shelf life and quality of products, as it influences the growth of microorganisms, molds and yeasts. The Moisture Meter delivers highly accurate results within just 3 to 5 minutes and works with precise sensors that ensure an accuracy of ± 0.015 aw in the temperature range of 10 to 30°C / 50 ... 86°F. It has three different measurement modes: normal mode, fast mode and continuous display mode. Calibration can be performed with one or more points (two, three or four points).
