A Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument is an important safety device. It recognizes dangerous gas concentrations in the air and sounds the alarm in good time to prevent accidents such as explosions or poisoning. Our Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument has been specially developed for use in homes, offices and similar indoor areas. It detects both natural gas (methane) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG, consisting of propane and butane) and reacts as soon as a certain concentration is exceeded.
Our Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument measures gas concentrations in the range of 0 ... 100% of the lower explosion limit (LEL), whereby the alarm is triggered at 6% LEL. The response time is a maximum of 30 seconds and the alarm is triggered at a volume of over 70 decibels. A heat sensor is also integrated, which also triggers an alarm at an ambient temperature of 57°C / 134.6°F.
The detector is equipped with a color LCD display that shows the date and time as well as the gas values, the temperature and the remaining sensor life. A Wi-Fi connection is used to connect to the "Smart Life" app, which can be used to monitor the status of the device worldwide. In the event of an alarm, an acoustic and visual warning, a voice message and a push notification are sent to the smartphone. In addition, a connected valve can be activated automatically to stop the gas supply. The sensor has a service life of five years and the device requires a warm-up time of 180 seconds after switching on. The detector is supplied with 5V/1 A power via micro USB and consumes less than 200 mA.
The installation of the Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument depends on the type of gas used: for natural gas, which is lighter than air, the device is installed about 30 cm below the ceiling, for LPG, which is heavier than air, about 30 cm above the floor. The distance to the gas source should be 1.5 to 4 meters / 5 to 13 ft. The Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument can be attached either with screws or double-sided adhesive tape. Regular tests, which can also be carried out via the app or manually on the device, ensure that it is working properly.
Overall, the Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument offers a modern and reliable solution for the early detection of gas leaks and thus makes a significant contribution to increasing safety in rooms supplied with gas. This model of Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument combines modern technology with simple operation and is ideal for private and commercial applications.... The 3-Axis Vibration Meter / Vibration Tester enables fast and precise measurement of acceleration, vibration displacement and vibration velocity in three directions (X, Y, Z) or for a single axis. It is used in accordance with ISO 2954 for the detection of unbalance, misalignment and mechanical faults in rotating machinery and is ideal for quality control, commissioning and predictive maintenance on site.
With a frequency range of 10 Hz to 10 kHz, it detects a wide range of vibrations, making it versatile for industrial applications. The 3-Axis Vibration Meter / Vibration Tester weighs just 163 g / 0.4 lbs and is easy to read even in difficult conditions thanks to the backlit 2-inch LCD display. In addition, the 3-Axis Vibration Meter / Vibration Tester switches off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity to save energy.
The 3-Axis Vibration Meter / Vibration Tester has a 3-axis piezoelectric accelerometer with three mounting options: a magnetic sensor and two measuring tips (one conical and one spherical) that can be attached to the sensor. These accessories enable precise and versatile vibration measurements on various machines and surfaces. This makes the device a handy and powerful tool for industrial vibration measurements. It supports various units such as mm/s, inch/s, m/s², g, ft/s², mm and mil and has a measurement function that displays the maximum measured values.... The Thickness Gauge has a globally unique measuring probe that can be swiveled through 90°, allowing you to always carry out precise coating thickness measurements. The Thickness Gauge with the compact, lightweight devices is barely larger than a measuring probe and is therefore ideal for on-site applications in hard-to-reach places. The handy metal housing is splash-proof to IP 64 for interference-free measurements in harsh environments. A coating thickness tester with flowing water protection is also available as an option. For a long service life with frequent measurements on rough surfaces, the measuring probe has a wear-resistant ruby probe pole.
With a single button and the self-explanatory, multilingual menu navigation, the Thickness Gauge is very easy to operate.
A Thickness Gauge is usually used in the quality assurance of coating processes. For example, to determine the paint thickness of a coating, when testing vehicles or steel structures or in fire protection (determining the coating thickness of steel doors). However, it is not only a Thickness Gauge, but can also be used to reliably measure rubber coatings, anodizing and galvanic coatings.
The Thickness Gauge uses a combined probe to measure insulating layers of paint, varnish, plastic, rubber, ceramic and galvanic coatings (excluding nickel) using the magnetic induction measuring method. The device is used on iron and steel substrates. It is also suitable for measuring insulating coatings (paint, plastic, etc.) using the eddy current method on non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, bronze and non-magnetic stainless steels in accordance with ISO 2178 and ISO 2360.
To further process your measurement data, you can connect your Thickness Gauge to mobile Android and iOS devices. Or you can communicate with a Windows PC. Wireless technology makes it possible. With the Lima Connect app, you can manage projects and allocate the measuring points on a photo. The measurement results can be statistically analysed and displayed graphically. The app for Android, iOS and Windows is free of charge.... Read More |
