The Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument is a versatile device for monitoring the air quality in indoor spaces such as homes, offices, workshops, schools or public facilities. It is used for the simultaneous measurement of formaldehyde (HCHO), volatile organic compounds (TVOC), ambient temperature and relative humidity. The Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument has a 2.8-inch color display that shows all measured values in real time and also visually assesses the air quality in three stages - green for "good", yellow for "poor" and red for "very poor". The Gas Detector / Gas Detection Instrument also has an acoustic alarm function with adjustable threshold values and sound types, which is triggered when defined measured values are exceeded.
For data storage, the device offers space for up to 200 measuring points on 5 pages, which corresponds to a total capacity of 1000 measurements per measured variable. The values for formaldehyde, TVOC and temperature are stored. The storage intervals and the number of collection points can be set individually, whereby the stored data can only be retrieved at any time via a playback function in the device. Other functions include a real-time clock, battery status display, adjustable measuring rate, automatic switch-off time, adjustable screen brightness and the option of active fan control. The temperature unit can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

The Air Quality Meter detects CO values in the range from 0 ... 500 ppm with a fine resolution of 1 ppm. It also measures the relative humidity in the range from 20 ... 85% (also with 1% resolution) and the temperature from -10 ... 50°C / 14 ... 122°F. If required, the temperature display can also be switched to Fahrenheit. All measured values are shown on a 2 inch LCD display.
In the event of increased CO values, the detector emits both visual and acoustic warning signals. An integrated traffic light function clearly displays the air quality: Green stands for 0 ... 100 ppm, orange for 101 ... 200 ppm and red for 201 ... 500 ppm. If the value exceeds 100 ppm, an additional acoustic warning signal sounds to indicate a potential health hazard.
Equipped with an integrated rechargeable lithium battery that can be conveniently charged via USB-C, the detector is particularly flexible to use.
