The Accelerometer records the three most important vibration parameters – acceleration, velocity and displacement – and displays them simultaneously on the screen. The frequency ranges are 10 Hz to 10 kHz for acceleration and 10 Hz to 1 kHz for velocity and displacement. These values enable precise measurements of both high-frequency vibrations, such as those occurring in gearboxes, and low-frequency movements of slow-running machines.
Technically, the Accelerometer is based on a piezoelectric acceleration sensor, which ensures high measurement accuracy, exact repeatability and a wide frequency range. The measured values are shown on a 4-digit, 2-inch LCD display that supports both metric and imperial units. Practical functions such as MAX-Hold allow the highest measured value to be stored.
