To assist the user, the Material Tester emits both an acoustic signal and an LED display as soon as the preset torque value is reached. Four different units of measurement (Nm, kgf-cm, lbf-ft, lbf-in) and three measuring modes - real time, peak value and preset - make it flexible to use. Automatic switch-off after a few minutes saves the batteries, and up to 999 measured values can be stored in the internal memory. The stored values can only be called up on the device.
The Material Tester is equipped with a fine-toothed ratchet head, which enables precise work even with a small radius of movement. Thanks to its robust construction made of metal and resistant plastic, it is durable and suitable for regular use. The Health & Safety - Surface Resistance Meter uses gold-plated, spring-loaded electrodes that ensure excellent contact with a wide variety of surfaces and minimize contact resistance. All electrodes are replaceable ATE quality pogo pin probes, made from beryllium copper with a hard gold plating of at least 60 microinches - robust, durable and precise.
The two-point probe head is directly connected to an integrated surface resistance measuring device, which measures the surface resistance at a test voltage of approx. 9 volts. The measurement results are shown on a colored LED display. This allows the ESD properties of a material to be clearly recognized at a glance.
