If the preset alarm limits are exceeded, the device immediately warns the user with visual, audible and vibration alarms. The alarm parameters – including low and high thresholds as well as STEL and TWA limits – can be individually adjusted to meet specific operational requirements and legal specifications.
In addition to classic measurement mode, the Environmental Meter offers extensive additional functions such as self-test, zero and multi-point calibration, and an internal memory for alarm and measurement events. This also makes it suitable for documenting occupational safety measures and for test reports. The intuitive menu navigation via an ergonomic keypad allows for easy operation even when wearing protective gloves.
The integrated Li-ion battery provides up to 8 hours of operation and can be quickly recharged. The robust housing made of impact-resistant plastic with non-slip rubber coating is dustproof and waterproof in accordance with IP66 and designed for harsh industrial environments. In addition, the Environmental Meter meets the requirements of explosion protection class Ex ib IIB T3 Gb and is therefore suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
