Our Moisture Balances is a high-precision device that has been specially developed for plaster analysis. With a maximum weighing capacity of 220 g and a measuring resolution of 0.001 g, it enables exact and reliable moisture measurements. The balance works on the principle of drying with simultaneous weighing. During drying, the weight loss is continuously recorded and displayed as a percentage of the total mass.
The balance has two adjustable heating temperature ranges: 40 °C ... 180 °C and 105 °C ... 360 °C - which are made possible by two powerful radiant heaters: a 250 W infrared heater and a 375 W quartz heater. These heating elements ensure precise and efficient drying results and can be operated independently of each other in timer or automatic mode. For measurement evaluation, the device offers various parameters such as % moisture, % dry matter, % moisture bd as well as g residual weight / kg and residual weight, which enable the sample to be analysed.
The functions include an automatic power-off function, which stops the drying process when the constant weight is reached. The automatic power-off can be set to three criteria: start of sampling, sampling interval and weight loss per sampling interval. This allows a high degree of flexibility in controlling the drying process. There is also a timer that can be set from 1 to 180 minutes. Our device is also equipped with a menu lock that prevents accidental adjustment of the parameters. The menu can be locked using a PIN whereas the CAL menu item remains available. The Moisture Balances has a programme memory with up to 9 memory locations to store and quickly call up different drying profiles. However, this function is only available in combination with the light emitter.
The Moisture Balances offers GLP-compliant output of all data via the Data Bridge software. Intermediate values can be printed at individually adjustable intervals if required. In addition, all data is transferred via the serial RS-232 interface and USB. The printer can be deactivated, if required. Data can be transferred to a PC via a software which must be purchased separately. The balance also has a 4-digit device ID for unique identification of the device, which enables precise allocation of the measurement data.

With a maximum sample weight of 200 g and a high resolution of 0.001 g, the Moisture Analyser / Moisture Analyzer enables exact measurements of the moisture content and the ash residue.
The device works on the principle of drying and incineration with simultaneous weight measurement. During the drying process, the weight loss is continuously recorded and displayed as a percentage of the total mass. Thanks to a heater output of 375 W and an adjustable heating temperature of 105 °C to 600 °C, the Moisture Analyser / Moisture Analyzer offers quick and flexible drying and incineration of samples. Various parameters are available for measurement evaluation: % moisture, % dry matter, % moisture bd, g residual weight / kg, residual weight, % residue on ignition and % loss on ignition. These measured values allow a detailed analysis and precise determination of the dry matter and ash content.
The Moisture Analyser / Moisture Analyzer has a customisable automatic power-off function with three individually adjustable criteria: detection start, weight decrease per detection interval and detection interval. These functions ensure flexible control of the drying process. In addition, the dry substance, residue on ignition and moisture content can also be determined using the timer, which can be set between 1 and 180 minutes. To manage samples, up to nine parameter combinations are available in the programme memory, which can be adapted to different sample types.
