A lab water system (or laboratory water purification system) provides a consistent, pure, and adjustable source of water essential for many laboratory experiments. There are a variety of laboratory water systems, including deionized water systems, high flow lab water systems, reagent grade water systems, reverse osmosis water purification systems, and ultrapure water systems. A high and low flow (and ultra-pure) water system regulates a continuous water flow of up to 12L/minute, purifying the water with ion exchange systems and reverse osmosis to achieve up to 18.2 megOhms of resistance; equipped with 0.22-0.2 micron ultra filters to remove pyrogen, endotoxin, RNase and DNase. Laboratory water purification systems can also employ UV radiation to eliminate microorganisms. A laboratory water system can either draw water directly from the tap or from an accompanying reservoir. Lab water systems can be customizable, and meet NCCLS, ASTM, and cap specifications for Type 1 water.

The designCENTRA® has revolutionized the way that large volumes of pure water are produced, stored, and distributed. The CENTRA® is a complete water purification, storage, control, and distribution system providing Type I (Ultrapure), Type II, and Type III pure water from 30 to 200 liters per hour. The design provides more flexible installation options for new buildings and refurbishments. The CENTRA®’s small footprint means that it can be placed closer to the laboratory, avoiding the negative cost and design implications of long pipework loops. Recirculated water is UV-treated, filtered, and (if fitted) can be improved through deionization. A wide range of water purities are possible from RO permeate up to 18.2 MΩ-cm Type I purity.
Features:
- Continuous, reliable supply of pure water using unique access controls, leak detection systems, and full AV alarms with optional building management system (BMS) connectivity
- Optimized inorganic water quality through the use of in-line purification technologies
- Up to 200 l/hr of purified water available at up to 30 l/min from a distribution loop
- Low microbial counts achieved through vent filtration, spray-ball water distribution, and smooth internal surface in the reservoir combined with UV oxidation and 0.2 µm filtration in the loop

Applications include electrochemistry, cell culture, spectrophotometry and the provision of purified water to further ultrapure water systems. With its simple design and ease of use, water can be dispensed from the integrated tap or from a choice of additional dispensers.
Features:
- Tap to Type 2: Purifies from tap to 15 MO.cm for laboratories requiring up to 100 L/day.
- Fully Recirculating:Consistent peak water purity is maintained at >15 MO.cm through full automatic recirculation and composite vent filtration on the associated reservoir.
- Ideal for high volume labs: Patented recirculating EDI technology maintains cost-effectiveness for laboratories with higher output volume requirements.
- Space Saving Design: Modular and configurable design to save space, whether wall-mounted, on or under the bench.
- Data capture: data capture via USB for system performance validation and software updates.
