It offers a resolution of 0.1°C / 0.18°F and measures with an accuracy of ± 3°C / 5.4°F in the range -50°C ... 0°C / -58 ... 32°F and ± (1.5% of the measured value + 2°C / 3.6°F) in the range from 0°C ... 400°C / 32 ... 752°F. The measured value display can be switched between °C and °F, and the emissivity can be adjusted in the range 0.1 to 1.0.
An optical temperature alarm can be freely set within the usable measuring range and supports a rapid response when defined limit values are exceeded or not reached. The measuring device has a measuring spot ratio of 12:1 and a fast response time of just 0.5 seconds. Additional functions such as hold and maximum value display facilitate handling and increase practicality. With the Thermometer, the measured values of several temperature sensors can be recorded, displayed and archived simultaneously. It supports eight different thermocouple types (K, J, E, T, N, S, R, B), which can be connected to the 12 measuring channels. The large measuring range of -200 ... 1800°C / -328 ... 3272°F makes the Thermometer ideal for a wide range of applications - from cryogenic temperatures to high-temperature processes. Particularly noteworthy is the high measuring accuracy, especially with type K thermocouples with ± (0.04% of the mean value + 0.3 K).
The measured values of the Thermometer are displayed on a large 7-inch display, which provides a clear and easy-to-read visualization of all 12 measured temperatures. In addition, the maximum, minimum and average values since the start of measurement can be displayed in a separate view. Each channel can be individually compared with the other channels, whereby the current measured value and the difference to a selected reference channel are displayed.
Another highlight of the Thermometer is the long battery life: with a measuring interval of 10 minutes, the data logger lasts up to 24 days in battery mode.
